Charlotte Vintage

Katrina and Stan Teague have collected mid-century modern furniture pieces for years. After a banking career for Katrina and law enforcement for Stan, the two decided to retire and join forces by opening Charlotte Vintage. Together, they’re pursuing their passion for buying and selling mid-century furniture.

Katrina contacted our team when she and Stan were in the very early stages of opening Charlotte Vintage. Starting with a company name and a vision, we worked together to conceptualize their current logo. Katrina and Stan both have a keen eye for design and asked for a logo with a modern flair but not too “George Jetson!” Our designer, being a mid-century modern aficionado, relished the assignment and delivered several options with the chest motif being the winner. It’s classy just like the iconic brands that Charlotte Vintage curates.

Next, we reviewed options for their website design. The Teagues decided that the best option would be to create a simple website that could help explain their personal story and how to buy from them. We built their website using an existing WordPress template layout, which saved both time and money. The website links out to an online marketplace where they list their furniture for sale. It also highlights the Teague’s new store, which they opened after a very successful initial launch that focused on sales via appointment and online. The website features large, professionally shot photos that bring their furniture and spaces to life.

The Bellaworks team has also helped Stan and Katrina with website content and messaging. They have such a heartwarming story of leaving their careers to open this company, and it was important to bring this through on the website. They worked with our copywriter to draft their About Us page, one of the most frequently visited pages on any website. It was important to help position this new company correctly in the market and to work in keywords for search engine optimization.

We continue to work with Stan and Katrina to support their business as it evolves and grows. We make changes to the website as needed and provide ongoing website hosting services that keep the site safe and running smoothly. It has been amazing to watch Katrina and Stan pursue their passion. We are proud to support these fellow small business owners in our community.
