When the team at the Charlotte International Arts Festival (CIAF) contacted us about doing website design and development for their inaugural festival, we knew this would be a special opportunity.
From the very beginning, the CIAF team was clear that the design for this website needed to be world class. Together, we reviewed and took inspiration from some of the world’s most exciting and renowned music and arts festivals with the goal of the CIAF becoming a peer. The website required a dynamic, modern design with bold color, movement, and graphics. CIAF brought Bellaworks their brand-new logo, which laid the foundation for the branding, and Bellaworks expanded upon this with the fonts, colors, and styling for the website.
While the website design set the tone and feel for the festival, the copy, page layouts, and information structure needed to clearly communicate what this new festival was all about. The CIAF team created a full promotional campaign to advertise the festival and drive traffic to the website. Once visitors arrived on the website, we delivered a clear customer journey that quickly delivered information about the artists and events.
The website required a very robust calendar and events solution that could handle events spread over a two-week period in multiple locations with many performers. Bellaworks integrated a unique solution that to capably handle this very complex calendar.
