How do you break up payments?
We require a 50% payment to start working on your website. We bill the next 25% after the design phase and the final balance before launch.
How much does a custom WordPress website cost?
The cost of a custom WordPress design varies depending on the complexity of the site. During the discovery and quoting phase, we will plan our site structure and features in detail to estimate the price accurately. Typically, custom-designed websites start around 5K for a simple, 4 page, custom designed informational site.
Are your WordPress websites mobile-friendly?
Yes, all WordPress sites are optimized for mobile devices and tablets. From the moment we start on your design, we ensure that the elements we create will render well on various devices. Typically, 75% of your website traffic will be mobile users, so it’s essential for traffic and SEO.
How long does it take to build a custom WordPress website?
Our custom design process takes, on average, 12 weeks. We prefer to finish all your copywriting before we begin designing your page layouts. Extra time may be needed if your copy isn't complete. Also, if you need to refresh or design a logo, this could take extra time too. If you need a website faster and it is around 4-5 pages, check out our brochure websites, which can be done in days.
Do you build e-commerce websites?
We don’t build websites on platforms like Squarespace or Shopify, and we don’t build WooCommerce websites. We CAN build a WordPress website and link it to your Shopify website using a plugin. We can often create a form with conditional logic that can be linked to a payment gateway like PayPal.
Do you do the work in-house, or will my project be sent out somewhere?
Yes, we handle your project in-house. Our small but mighty team designs, codes, and readies your website for hosting.
Is your website easy to use? Will I be able to make my own updates?
Yes! We hand code our designs so they are lightweight, fast-loading, and easy for you to edit. We build user-friendly dashboards and flexible content blocks created specifically for your website. These blocks make it easy for you to add content and ensure that things like your fonts, colors, etc., remain consistent. Every website includes a one-hour training session and a written training document. If you prefer that we update your website, we can make changes and provide maintenance at our hourly rate.
